The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Programs oversees the University’s compliance with certain Federal laws, receives reports and investigates allegations of conduct that is prohibited by University policy, and conducts training for the University Community.
Generally, conduct that is prohibited is harassment and/or discrimination based on the following legally protected categories: Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Pregnancy, Age, Genetic/Family Medical History, Disability, Veteran Status, or any other legally protected basis.
The Office houses the Title IX Coordinator and the Director of Equal Opportunity. In addition, the Office houses the Director of Informal Resolution Services. The Director of Informal Resolution Services offers workplace conflict resolution services, Title IX Alternative Dispute Resolution services, and workplace conflict resolution training.
